EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 18/2020-Restriction Exemption Program (REP) will be enforced starting Monday, October 18, 2020.

Dear our valued families,

As things are ever changing in our outside world, we are also experiencing these changes. After careful deliberation and discussion, we have chosen that taking part in the REP is the best step for our facility going forward. We want to make it very clear that this decision is not to make people feel isolated or take sides, or anything of the sort, it is to ensure that we are able to continue to offer the best program possible for all of our athletes. Our commitment to offering a great program for the children in the Taber and surrounding areas has always been our number one priority, and it will continue to be that way. If we did not move forward with this program, we would only be able to operate at 1/3 of our capacity, thus causing us to cancel classes and offer less classes going forward.

Starting Monday, October 18, anyone over the age of 12 entering the facility that is NOT coming for a class, will be required to provide proof of vaccination, negative test or medical exemption. To be very clear, all of our athletes under the age of 18 will not be asked for this information when they are coming for a class. During class time, they are participating in the activity and we do not require vaccine, test or exemption information (12 & up).

We are still not open to spectators at this time, as we are wanting to focus all of our attention on our classes.

Open gym will not be continuing at this time. Birthday parties will be available upon request for Friday and Saturdays, the new REP rules apply. Visit www.tabergymclub@gmail.com">www.tabergymclub@gmail.com for more information on birthday parties.

Daily Checklists are still required to be completed before you send your kids to class, and if anyone is experiencing symptoms, please keep them at home!

Thank you for your kindness and understanding of what we are needing to do to move forward at full participant capacity, we appreciate you all. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact us, we are here to help!

REP CLARIFICATION (December 20, 2021)

We wanted to send clarification about the REP program, and why it looks a bit different with us and allowing spectators.

We ARE currently following the REP program, we have had to enforce it in order to keep our classes running at full capacity, as well as allow adults to come in with their 1-2 year olds in our adult and tot classes. It has also allowed us to run rentals and parties by request.

The reason that we are not allowing spectators, is that would mean that we have to hire more staff to be at the gym during all open hours, averaging about 20 hours a week, in order to check all ID and scan all codes, and more constant sanitization of the viewing areas. If we were to hire more staff, the prices would have to increase to cover the cost of more staff members. We are a non-profit organization, and are funded solely by our registrations. This means that the cost of your childs classes would increase to cover this added expense. While we are a non-profit organization, we are still paying a mortgage on the facility, and have chosen to keep costs as low as possible for our families and not hiring additional staff. We do sincerely apologize and very much wish that it could be a different scenario for us, and hopefully in the future all of the extras won't be an issue, but for now it is. Our athletes have always been our top priority, and we want to make sure that we are doing what we can to make sure they are able to come back!

Please know that our coaches will gladly chat with you about your athletes progress if you have any concerns at all! We are currently looking into pricing for installing cameras to be able to live stream classes so you can watch if you'd like. This will come down to the financial aspect of it and how much money it will cost us to do so. We will update once we have done our research!

Again, we sincerely apologize, as Board members and staff members, we would love to watch our kiddos as well, but are adhering to the same rules.

Sincerely,

TGFC Board of Directors and Staff
